Schaaf delivering a floor statement before the roll call disclosing his personal opposition and citing the town's ongoing sewer infrastructure work as a key factor. "My reason for no is not never — just not right now," Schaaf said. The board then unanimously authorized Vice Chair William F. Tinker to sign a $1,774,498 contract with Callahan Brothers for the town's Hardwick Road pumping system upgrades, a contract the board had previously voted to award.
